Books beyond the free limit pause. Nothing is deleted: readers, feedback and analytics are all kept, and the books reopen when you upgrade.
A browser can’t stop a phone camera. What it can do is put the reader’s email on every page, so a leaked screenshot shows who it came from.
Card fees would take about a third of a $1 charge. Billing once a year keeps the price at a dollar a month.
